For $1.50, you can buy some sweet fabric from the thrift store and improve your old, bright, whacky curtains. A dollar fifty couldn't have made me happier.

your room looks so nice, I really like it!
Haha your old curtains look awesome. Though these certainly go MUCH better.
Your room is so nice. Ever considered interior decorating?
Haha, thank you!
I have considered it. Well, I like to design and customize anything... so I'm thinking I could also be a general designer!
So true! Thrift stores are the best place to find fabric. I found yards and yards of (vintage) fabric a short while ago, enough that would have cost 10x at much online or at Jo Anns or Roberts or... the craft stores you have there in Canada. :)
Also, that's your room? Somehow that wallpaper... looks familiar...
Haha. Bonnie, that's not wallpaper, I painted those stripes one by one!
Ohhhhh! I should have known. Your room looks so cozy. :)
Oh, and I replied on my blog so others could see if they were curious also, but I'll reply here too. I'm pretty sure it's water color, colored pencil, and pastel. Does that count as a painting? Haha. I've just referred to it as 'Asia's painting' this entire time. Maybe I should be calling it a mixed media portrait.
(Also, and you completely are under no obligation to do this, but I officially go by my middle name now. (I'm sure you've noticed). I'll be legally changing it soon.
I really dislike my first name, but I understand that it's hard to remember a name change for someone you've known awhile.)
ONE MORE THING---Not related to the name change, but I seriously LOVE how observant you are. You're always noticing things that no one else does. :)
Sorry for the never-ending comments!
your room looks sooo cute! the walls !
i really need some curtains too. white blinds really do not do much. they blind and prevent me from sleeping in!
